Terms for using the Parent Perspective website and understanding its services.

These Terms apply when you use the Parent Perspective website. Service bookings have additional terms, which are provided before you book.

About Parent Perspective

Parent Perspective is the trading name of Terri Fowler, a sole trader. For general or website enquiries, email terri@parentperspective.co.uk.

Website information

The website provides information about counselling, hypnobirthing and free resources. Website information is general and educational. It is not a personal counselling session, medical advice, diagnosis or emergency service, and it cannot replace care from a health professional who knows your circumstances.

The website and its enquiry forms are not monitored continuously. If someone is in immediate danger, call 999 or go to A&E.

Services and current prices

Counselling is individual and online by video for adults who are physically in the UK during each session. Sessions last 50 minutes and are open-ended, with ongoing appointments usually arranged weekly or fortnightly.

• Counselling: £50 for one 50-minute session, or £295 for a block of six sessions.

• Hypnobirthing: a four-hour session costs £295.

A limited number of concessionary counselling places may be available for people receiving benefits. Availability and any reduced fee are confirmed before booking. Current appointment availability may change.

Bookings and payment

Bookings are made through the booking route shown on the website. The booking page will provide the available appointment, total price and payment details. The counselling agreement is provided privately before a counselling booking; it is not published on this website. Hypnobirthing service terms are provided before its booking is confirmed.

Payment is made in advance. Service-specific terms take priority for the booking they cover if they provide more detail than these general website Terms.

Changes, cancellations and blocks

For counselling and hypnobirthing appointments, at least 24 hours’ notice allows you to rearrange without an additional charge, subject to availability. The payment carries forward to the rearranged appointment and is not refunded. With less than 24 hours’ notice, the full appointment fee remains payable; a counselling session paid for through a block counts as used.

A six-session counselling block is non-refundable and must be used within 12 months of purchase. Any unused sessions expire after that period. The applicable booking terms will be provided before you commit to a service. Nothing in these Terms removes a consumer right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Using website content

Do not copy, sell, republish, or distribute website content, workbooks, images or branding without Parent Perspective’s written permission.

Please use the website lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt its operation, gain unauthorised access or introduce malicious software. Please avoid sending detailed health information through general website forms.

External links, privacy and cookies

Links to external websites or services, including the Konfidens booking service, are provided for convenience. Those services have their own terms and privacy information.

The Website Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy explain how website information and cookies are handled. 

Website changes and applicable law

Parent Perspective may update website information and these Terms. The date at the top of the published version will show when they were last updated. A change to these website Terms does not change service terms already agreed for an existing booking.

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any consumer protections that apply to you elsewhere in the UK.
